Stroke Caused By Neck Problems Not By Orem Chiropractor

This post is kinda a big deal and is probably more complicated than other posts I've written, but it's an important subject so let's get into how stroke is caused by neck problems and not by Orem Chiropractororem chiropractor neck storke For years one of the stigmas of chiropractic was that it was done by a bunch of snake oil salesmen and it caused strokes.

I'm going to address the strokes caused by chiropractors issue. As of late I get the sense that is thinking is finally going away as it has been discovered that you're just a likely to have a stroke while you're watching TV as at the chiropractor - meaning there is no link between chiropractic adjustments and someone have a stroke.

Today I found an article that showed people who have lost the normal curve of their neck have decreased hemodynamics.

Specifically, they found "a significant association between the loss of cervical lordosis and decreased vertebralartery hemodynamics, including diameter, flow volume, and peak systolic velocity."

In simpler terms that means that people who have a head forward posture have decreased diameter in their artery diameter, the amount of blood that makes it to the brain is lower and the blood is slower than normal.

All these things are going to make it more likely that a person has a stroke. The interesting thing is that people with head forward posture are also more likely to have headaches, neck pain, back pain, etc. The kind of things a person would typically see a chiropractor for.

So when you see your chiropractor make sure you ask whether you have head forward posture and what you should do about it.

It can likely save you from having a stroke.
